Our property is nestled in the mountains above Wanship, Utah — 1,400 acres of private land where distraction gives way to discovery. Isolated from the noise of everyday life, Big Canyon Ranch is the perfect place to encounter God in His creation.
Whether you're hosting a summer camp, planning a group retreat, or leading a conference, our facilities are built to support your mission. A large event barn, fully-equipped meeting spaces, comfortable lodging, staffed adventure activities, and on-site dining — everything your group needs is already here.

Both lodging options are designed for community and rest — comfortable enough to recharge, simple enough to keep focus where it belongs. Combined overnight capacity of 138 guests.
Aspen Lodge
Our charming 46-bed mountain lodge features a lounge with a wood burning fireplace, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and sink. Seven spacious bedrooms sleep six guests each (3 bunks + 1 queen lower bunk), plus one room with 2 bunks. Four bathrooms - finished with solid surface counters and slate tile showers - each serve two bedrooms, with at least 2 showers and toilets per bathroom.

YURT VILLAGE
Tucked into the landscape, our Yurt Village offers a comfortable retreat where guests can rest, recharge, and reconnect. Seven year-round sleeping yurts accommodate up to 92 guests and include cozy beds, private bathrooms, showers, sinks, and climate control for every season. Nearby, our dedicated meeting yurt welcomes up to 70 people, creating a warm, flexible space for teaching, worship, conversation, and community. All surrounded by the beauty of Big Canyon.

Snacks & Espresso
Café
Located on the south end of the Event Barn, the Snack Shack Café serves a full espresso bar and pastries each morning. Afternoons bring shakes, candy, sodas, and seasonal treats. Booth seating, barstool seating, and outdoor patio available — open whenever your group needs a place to land between activities.
The Café also features a small merch store stocked with Big Canyon clothing, hats, and accessories. No additional cost to have the Café open — just coordinate timing with us before your arrival.
DINING
Event Barn Dining
All meals are served buffet-style in the Event Barn — set around round tables of 9 so every camper enjoys conversation with the whole table. When weather permits, outdoor patio seating is available. A large camp bell rings to start each meal, and a leader is always welcome to pray before the group goes through the line.
Our kitchen team uses health form data to ensure dietary options are available at every meal. We also offer a wide variety of non-carbonated beverages including lemonade, PowerAde, coffee, iced tea, and more.
