More Than Twenty Years of Encounter
A legacy of life-changing encounters with Jesus Christ.
For more than two decades, Big Canyon has been a place where people step away from the distractions of everyday life to encounter Jesus in a meaningful way. What began with a vision to create a Christ-centered camp in Utah became a reality in 2001 when God provided the property that is now home to Big Canyon in the Wasatch Back.
Since then, generations of campers, church groups, volunteers, and ministry leaders have gathered here to grow in faith, build lasting community, and experience God through adventure and creation. Every trail, campfire, and gathering space carries stories of lives transformed.
At Big Canyon, we believe we're called to do more than host camps and retreats. We steward a place where people can slow down, connect with God and one another, and leave encouraged to live out their faith. Our story continues with every person who walks through our gates.
